Every adhesive latch requires a clean, grease-free surface and uninterrupted cure time before the first test pull. Tape needs time to bond with the finish. Plan your work so you can install the hardware and leave it untouched for 24 hours before putting tension on the latch.

Securing the kitchen appliances and low cabinets

Kitchens hold the highest concentration of daily hazards, from hot surfaces to cleaning chemicals. Our fridge locks mount with adhesive and release when an adult presses both buttons together, so the refrigerator stays shut against a determined pull while you still open it one-handed. Hardware serves as a helpful deterrent, but no latch replaces direct supervision. Once your child figures out how a specific mechanism operates, retire the lock and adjust your safety plan.
